Clearing Out Samsung SPH-M500 Phone Memory

I have a question, does anybody know how to erase, or even access files on the phone memory? it says it's full already and I don't even have a lot of files, no ring tones, media, or games I wonder where all that memory is (51.6M). I have a memory card too but it doesn't matter because if I want to put a different screen saver other than the preset images it says "not enough memory" I can't even add pictures to my contacts. TT TT

I hope someone can help me!

The following is based on my Samsung A900M phone, but I assume the process is very similar on the SPH-M500; it's virtually identical on the Samsung A940.

Menu -> Tools -> Mass Storage -> File Manager

There are four directories in File Manager. The pictures are located in "DCIM". There should be a directory like "100SSMED". Photos and videos are in there. Enter that directory.

Select the photo or video in that directory, press the "Options" button. Then activate "Erase".

Another method is to go through the album in the camera function.
