Hello,
I have a LG Optimus, a Coolpad Rogue and an ZTE, all running IP WebCam PRO. All phones are continuously plagued to their charges but only the LG Optimus stays on; the batteries on the other two phones drain completely in about 15 hours. All phones are new and run IP WebCam PRO with the same configuration. The camera also runs in the background and I don't have other apps running; automatic updates and notifications are also turned off. I have tested multiple cables and charges and the same thing happens. Any ideas or suggestions? THank you. Ruben

How long do they need to last? What are their applications? Couldn't you leave them plugged into the USB cable?

I think I misunderstood you. You meant you do have them plugged in to the power outlet at all times and you intend to have them on all the time.
When you say the camera run in the background, do you mean the display turns off and the SmartPhones go into sleep mode, but you can still view the cameras?
When you say the SmartPhones do not stay on, you mean they actually turn completely off, because of the loss of battery power, and not just go into sleep mode, correct?
If they are plugged in all the time, then I'm guessing you already speculated that the battery drain higher than the charging while running IP WebCam PRO. There are two possibilities if that's the case.
1) The power adapter is not capable of supplying the amperage necessary to run the SmartPhones and the apps.
2) The SmartPhones are not capable to charging the battery at higher amperage than the amperage drain.
Post the voltage and amperage rating of the power adapters, so we can see what we are dealing with.

James, thank you for your comments. The actual issue was your #2:
2) The SmartPhones are not capable to charging the battery at higher amperage than the amperage drain.
I have a total of 3 phones setup and I also had the same issue with a ZTE Jasper; the only device that did not have this issue was a LG Optimus, so I replaced the two devices that did not hold the charge with two LG Optimus and that took care of the problem. All phones have been running continuously and maintaining a full charge for almost a month now.
