A good compact camera for hacking ?
I am looking for a compact camera that I can remove the lens and flash from and connect them with extended wires back to the camera so that I can send them into bird nest holes as small as 25mm diameter. Anybody any sugestions or advice ? I did buy a cheap, damaged Nikon S6 off ebay, but unfortunately the ccd / lens assembly is bigger than I had imagined, I have thought about trying to modify a webcam - but the resolution won't be as high as I'm wanting.
