How to open a Canon PowerShoot A70 (or Ax0)
Hi
Albert
I have not taken apart an Canon A70 before. But I have taken apart a Sony DSC-P92. On the P92, after removing all of the screws, the top is still latched onto a hook. I pulled the bottom apart slowly, eventually worked the top loose. You can also try inserting a screwdriver on top to see if you can pry through the top cover.

I have a CanonA60. Assuming the Ax series have a lot in common, you can simply pull the bottom piece slowly apart, after unscrewing it. There are two "hooks" placed just near the eye-piece and the battery pack. Hope it helps. Shah Fahim Thanks man that worked for my canon powershot a430 also. there is no screw on top, just some lock pull slowly it comes outtry to remove fwd cover not the one with rotary control and lcd suraj kumar
