Memory Card Error with Canon SX200

Hi.My new canon sx200 is came with a 2 gig(sd) card,it worked great for 3 days,now it says card error,card locked,I can't take or view my pics,can't even download pics as my computer can't find the card when I insert it in.Tried playing with the lock tab and tried tape over lock tab,nothing works,I can use my old card also a 2 gig and all is ok.Please help,Yhanx,Frank

Sounds like your new card is defective. You can try reformatting it. If that doesn't work, then I think you'll have to return it and get a new one.

Same problem which really pissed me off. Not sure if it is the simple tech card or the Canon reader but wont work and says "Card Locked" when its open and wont read anything when its locked. Computer wont read the card either.
