Memory card locked on Canon IXY????I just bought the 4GB DNA's SD card for my Canon IXY. I don't know what to do because I already slide the lock switch on the left up to unlock the card, and in the computer it works fine. Lynn M First thing to check is whether your camera supports the new SDHC standard. The 4 GB SD Card is physically identical to the smaller 2 GB and under cards. However, their I/O signal are completely different. A non-SDHC compatible camera cannot use the 4 GB SDHC card. Any SD Card that is bigger than 2 GB are SDHC cards, because regular SD standard has an addressing limit of 2 GB. Chieh Cheng thank you so much, this explains it! Lynn M hi there rose I don't think you have the same problem, rose, because the Canon IXY doesn't support 4 GB cards. So I don't know how you were even able to shoot photos onto that card. Chieh Cheng Had the same issue (Card Error/Card Locked) with a Micro SD card in my Casio Power Shot. Come to find out I was inserting the adapter without the little "micro" memory card inserted with it. Never knew and looked like an idiot after calling Toshiba Customer support. Oh well live and learn!! Nick
