Self-Made 300D RemoteThanks for your tips how to make the remote cable for the 300D , this is my first remote cable modified according your instructions from a old MINOLTA remote , C = 3.5 mm female audio stereo plug to remote with cable from a mouse , A = 3.5 mm to 2.5 mm stereo male jacks , for thr canon 300D , B = 3.5 mm male stereo audio jack to minolta plug (still can use also for the old minolta camera ).

I made another remote ( this is my favorite ) picture below , this is from an old PAUSE cable remote from a SONY betamax VCR , button 2 is for AF its a mini switch soldered to the board replacing the original LED , button 1 white square is for release , the cable with the mini 2.5mm stereo jacks is from a cellphone handsfree unit ( motorola ) , this one is my favorit as I prefocus with button 2 and release with button 1 , comfortable to use and the size is compared with the RC1 remote , also very nice and handy .

Hi Kwe! You are quite welcome. I am glad you are able to take the information and make use of your old remote to make new ones. I think the remotes you made are very cool.
