Canon RC-1 infrared remote control hackedHi folks! Recently I figured out the communication protocol of the Canon RC-1 infrared remote control. It consists of two bursts with 16 pulses at 32 kHz. The two modes of operation (immediate and delayed) differ in the delay between the bursts. Details are described on my homepage: http://www.doc-diy.net/photo/rc-1_hacked/ The corresponding low-budget DIY clone with a micro-controller is described here: http://www.doc-diy.net/photo/eos_ir_remote/ Happy hacking, Luk luk Thanks, Luk! That is very cool. Chieh Cheng
