Disassemble Canon A710 IS

I desperately need instructions (with a photo or two) on how to disassemble a Canon A710 to the point where I can modify the shutter button switch. I accept all responsibility for any damage that may result.

I have removed all the external screws but cannot seem to pull the case apart without damaging it.

I want to be able to remote fire the camera.

Help!
