Fuji FinePix F401 Zoom lens barrel problem
My f401 had that problem and fuji repaired it because it was under extended warranty. Now that I am out of warranty I am having another problem.
The lens barrel sometimes does not fully extend or it fails to retract when the camera is shut off. At first I thought I just had a weak battery but I ruled that out by trying two new ones. This is intermittent problem but I suspect it will eventually not work at all.
I can get a "parts only" camera on ebay. How difficult will it be to simply replace the barrel mechanism?
