How to Reduce resolution of tiff files??

Hi,
I am using dcraw to generate tiff images. The resulting tiff image is bulky.I want to reduce its resolution keeping its pixel the same size. How can I od that.

Do you have a photo editing software? If not, you can get a copy of Gimp, which is free. In your photo editing software, you can rescale or resize the image to any resolution you want.

If you are Linux, you can also use the ImageMagick package on the command line. For example, the following command scales the source image to 640x480 and saves it into the destination image.

  convert -resize 640x480 source destination

If you want to keep the aspect ratio, you can specify just the width or the height (e.g. "640x" or "x480").
