Kodak Z8612IS Digital Camera

The Kodak Z8612IS is known for its amazing ability to take crisp clear photos in a digital camera's toughest situations - low light and fast action. There are various modes that amateur and professional photographers can use to ensure each picture is distinctly unique. Amateur photographers will quickly discover that the Kodak Z8612IS doesn't need to be constantly tweaked in order to get a good photo. Users who put the camera on auto-mode manage to take amazing pictures. The adjustments for contrast, brightness, and red-eye reduction happen automatically with each snap.

One of the best features of the camera is the zoom lens. Kodak Z8612IS comes with an incredible zoom that allows the user to capture diminutive details or get a close-up of an object that is a far distance away. The camera is equipped with a 12x optical image-stabilized zoom lens. In addition to capturing the reality of a photo from afar the camera also works well in numerous lighting conditions. The conditions that would seem difficult with other cameras such as daylight or fluorescent light are easy to handle with the Kodak Z8612IS.

Although the Kodak Z8612IS captures wonderful pictures that users will be proud to display, there are downsides to owning the camera. One of the most mentioned cons to the Kodak Z8612IS is the lack of battery power retainment. The camera was engineered to take two AA batteries of high quality and users will discover that it isn't long before the camera needs two more batteries to keep it going. Another con that users of the Kodak Z8612IS all note is the time lag that occurs between shots. Taking pictures with the Kodak Z8612IS requires patience, and users who don't have time to waste will find that the Kodak Z8612IS is not for them. It takes an estimated four seconds for the flash to get ready, and then a few more seconds for the screen to ready itself for the next photo. The great thing about the Kodak Z8612IS is that once the camera readies itself to take a photo, the images it produces are clear and wonderful. The quality of images on the Kodak Z8612IS are superb and users of the camera are thoroughly impressed with what the digital camera can do. The Kodak Z8612IS has a great ability to capture an image instantly, freezing a facial expression or quick movement in time.

One of the celebrated features of the Kodak Z8612IS is the inclusive software that is provided with the camera. Kodak EasyShare Software is an award-winning software that allows photographers to easily tweak and design their pictures in a sophisticated manner.

When I previous camera broke and I didn't bother to get it fixed due to high cost and expired warranty, I decided to buy a new digital camera. I went a department store in Chatwood and spotted the Kodak EasyShare Z8612. It was on sale. I never owned a Kodak camera before. Then, I decided to give it a go. Nothing to lose as the price was right. I bought the camera. I brought it to a wedding party, and used it the first time. I took pictures with and without flash. and with and without zoom. After that, I downloaded the pictures and showed them on the screen. Wow, they were superbly sharp and bright. I was astounded. Next, I took the pictures to the machine to print them. I gave them to my friend, host of the wedding party. He and his another half said,"Your camera must be a very good one, an expensive one". I said,"No, it is a Kodak Z8612 I bought at a department store. It was on sale". They said,"Are you serious?". I said,"Yes, of course". I love my Kodak Z8612, and would keep it for a long time. The next camera? It would be a Kodak. I trust Kodak.

Same here, i bought the camera for 90 euro's over in the netherlands and i'm very satisfied with it, ony downside was the battery consumption as stated above, but with a Kodak battery and charger kit it works like a charm, and the power consumption is not bad after all, it really lasts a nice time now........

Another downside is the quality of the microphone when shooting a little movie, but then again, it ain't a videocamera ;)

As for the rest.......super !!! great zoom and superb quality, even mentioned by a friend of mine who owns a profesional camera

Wow . . . the Deposit Files link you provided requires to jump through a lot of hoops and is very slow. But I managed to download the manual, which was Russian. I'm attaching it here for convenience.
