Installation Disk for Olympus Camedia Camera C-3000 Zoom

Help! I lost my installation disk for my Olympus Camedia Camera C-3000 Zoom. Can anyone tell me where I can get the free software download. thanks

I received the C-3000 Camedia camera with no instruction book or software and I have no idea how to use it. If you have any ideas on how to receive an instruction manual, and software I would be greatful.

There is no free software download. You need to buy the Camedia software from Olympus. It is possible to find it "floating around" on the net, but that doesn't get you a serial number unless you have the packaging that came with your original copy.

That's the bad news.

The good news is that you don't need the Camedia software unless you particularly want to use its features. You can put the camera into PC Control mode, at which point it will appear as a USB mass storage device, and you can simply drag your photos off.
