olympus d390 firmware new xd card will not work

I have an older Olympus d390 digi cam and my folks gave me one of the new 2 gb xd cards ( i think its the m version ) my 390 will not work with that card is there a firmware upgrade that will allow the card to work -- seems i have been googleing for a solution it seem that there is a way to do it from some of the web searches Ive have done ---

please pint me into the right direction with some site that has the down load
