remotly controlling AIPTEK PocketcamHi, I am looking for a piece of software enabeling the automatic remote control of the old AIPTEK Pocketcams via USB by a WinXP PC. The camera came with a program that allows to do this by clicking on the buttons displayed on the PC screen but I want to do it AUTOMATICALLY, for example, to let it take a picture at a predefined time, to download it to the HD and to erase it from the camera's internal memory. Thanks a lot for hints, Dieter dieter Take a look at AutoHotKey. It is a free, open source software that lets you automate tasks in Windows. It might be able to poke that button for you. Take a look at it and see if it does what you need to do. Chieh Cheng Hi Chieh, thanks for the hint. I have used this piece of software already to control other programs but it has the disadvantage of often running out of sync. Also, if another window overlaps it does not find the buttons. It is a last resort but if anybody knew the codes to be passed to the camera for controlling its functions one might be able to write a little program. Unfortunately, photopc apparently fails to recognize the videochip! Dieter dieter If these cameras work as webcams then there are several programs that can do this sort of thing. kwhitefoot
