shoot RAW only with Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX2

Is there a way to shoot raw only with panasonic lx2? My images are all jpeg +raw which doubles the images.

My DMC-LX1 does not have that feature. What is worse is that the JPEG stored with the RAW file on DMC-LX1 is lower quality than if you store only JPEG. So I am suspecting the DMC-LX2 is in the same situation.

But the good news is that the new DMC-LX3 allows you to choose JPEG, RAW, or RAW and JPEG. And when you select to store both formats, you can choose the JPEG quality. If you really enjoy using your DMC-LX2, then you might want to consider upgrading to the DMC-LX3.
