Crayola camera 913D connection error

I bought one of these camera for my grandson who loves taking pictures I keep getting an connection error message when I try to download the photos I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software and still nothing. I have even tried other programs that I have but to no avail. Could someone who has this camera please tell me what I'm doing wrong? I have multiple digital cameras and have never had thois kind of problem.

...same here, connection error when trying download. I'm on Windows Vista home premium.
However, "PCCam" mode seems to work. I checked out Crayola website,,, doesn't even list the product under Electronics. Does anyone work not Vista?

...found driver for 913D on Win Vista at Sakar Website Download drivers:

After I saved the zip file then unzipped it then ran the install .exe, "download" worked as expected. Regards and Merry Christmas!

When trying to download the drivers from that link I get this error... Can anyone possibly send me the zipped file? It would be much appreciated!

Fixed my own issue above... just use internet explorer to go to that website and it works!

Got it to work. Thank you SO much! I had been trying to get my son's camera to work on our computer for most of the day.

Some one please help. I have read the other comments downloaded the zipped file as said to, and when I try to open the file this is what it says:
First call to RegDBCreateKeEx Failed. Then I click okay and it says this: RegDBSetKeyValueEx[Twainfolder] Failed.
What am I doing wrong? I would really like to get this set up for my little girl.

i am having the same problem I cannot get my daughter's camera to work on my new computer it worked on my old pc but not on my current laptop...it is the crayola 913d...any help would be very much appreciated thanks!
