I have a small Digital Concepts camera but I lost the driver. It has no model number on it. It is small rectangle about 1 1/2 inches long about an inch wide and a quarter inch thick. It is black and silver with only two buttons on the back. It is a very small thin simple camera. Does anyone know what driver this camera takes? Please e-mail info. Thanks for your help :).

I bought a small camera, the one about 3.5 inches tall, 1.25 inches long, and 1/4inch thick. The CD driver didn't install properly. After a couple weeks, it wouldn't let me put pictures on my computer, and now my CD driver is lost. How can I get a new one without buying another camera?

go to http://downloads,sakarhelp.com/camerainstall.exe this will give the drivers for all sakar just be sure to follow the process and do not plug the camera in until after you restart your comuter

I bought a kids digital camera from Walmart Aug. of 2005. We moved and I lost the install CD. This camera is approx. 3.5" by 2" and 3/4" thick, lime metalic green with a sliding lense cover. The only writing on it is the work Digital below the lense seen only when you slide the cover back. I have no idea the brand and need to load a driver for it. Anyone got any suggestions?

Thank you for letting me know about SAKAR INTL-I did look all over the internet for drivers for this camera! If you all are looking for a model #, try on the bottom-it's small but it IS there, in tiny print. I bought this camera in a shrinkwrap package from WAL-MART during the holidays and a driver wasn't supplied. But all drivers are available at the SAKAR INTL site, I just downloaded mine. Thank you again!

I havge to same problem, that black camera with the silver lens and 2 silver buttons. Same piece of shit. looks like a nice camera, mirror black finish, only problem is that sakr is fuckind idiots with drivers, im trying to use a driver software to creat my own. believe me when someone gets a driver and supplies it to everyone, things will get better. but this shit better work, used my allowance to buy this shit at toys r us. bought this instead of NCAA football 08;. damn. shouldve bought 08.

From the Sakar FAQ:

"The driver for our digital cameras is too large to tranfer electronically. Please send a request with your mailing address to digitalcameras@sakar.com and we will mail one out to you."

If your Digital Concepts Digital Camera has a SD slot, and your PC has a SD Slot, you can buy a 1GB SD card from Wal-Mart for about $15,

If you do not have the SD slot on your PC, you can buy the SD Card and Sd Card reader with a USB connection, and it will work on any PC that has a USB Port. You can buy it online from Walmart for $15 + $5 shipping for the combo.

I have a Digital Concepts Digital Camera with Preview Screen, Dual Mode Camera.
I couldn't get the Install Wizard to find the driver in the cd/dvd drive on a "Found New Hardware" install, but it read fine from Control Panel/ Scanners and Cameras install/setup. I made this brilliant discovery after downloading the driver, extracting it from a zip, and it STILL not working..just thought others might troubleshoot the issue this way and get results, finally, like I did.

My friend sent one of these Digital Concepts cameras to my son for Christmas, but the dog got the package and ate half the CD. The camera still seems to work, but the drivers don't seem to exist on the internet.

I'm trying to find software for a small silver digital camera produced by "Digital Concepts. purchased the camera in Louisiana and no model number is on the camera or case: no model number was on the packaging. It has a sliding cover over the front lens.

Any help in finding software and model would be greatly appreciated.

I agree none of the links work and the comment about the driver being to big to transfer via the internet is crap lol. The real comment should be we are too cheep to purchase the necessary equipment to transfer our drivers to you via the internet.

The drivers are not available on the internet.
Sakar apologizes for this inconvenience. We reccommend you return to the store you purchased your original Concepts camera from, and purchase another one so you have the CD. Once you have the CD, copy it and make a backup so you don't make the mistakes you did before. Try not to put the CD in your dog's mouth again, as that was not a wise decision.
Again, Sakar apologizes for not having the drivers on the internet- that is not necessary, the drivers come with the product and it is the consumer's duty to take care of what they have purchased, not our concern.

last xmas i bought my daughter a sakar cyberpix digital camera and it came with a software disk , but the disk does not do anything i have tried and tried to get it to work but it wont, it is like the disk is blank, i have tried several of the links that have been provided on this site but none of them have worked either, i was wondering if there is anyone that might be able to help me in any way, thanx

Have the 87480 camera, and it works automatically with the Ubuntu operating system. Just plug it in as a USB device - or plug the SDcard in - and the drive comes up with the pictures and the movies. To clarify on two points some are missing here: You must have a SDcard or the pictures will not be saved after shutoff, and Hold the camera steady or get a tripod - there is no stabilization during the two second capture. See my posts in other threads to see examples of the fine pictures that I have taken with this camera. Ubuntu also comes with a photo editor and video editor included.

My great-nephew bought a Sakar Model #88380 camera that didn't have any driver/software with it. I simply logged onto Sakar's webcite, clicked on their "contact" tab, and sent them a message. Sakar sent all of the software and drive to me in an e-mail within a week. Just make sure you give them the model number, etc.
