DCS w70 - E:91:01

I have recently got an E:91:01 error message and teh flash does not work. I have tried teh initaliztion as suggested iin the manual but no luck. My battery is also heating the top of teh camera near the flash.

I hit my kamera on the side once gently and it fixed the problem!?!?

SONY DSC-W55 Flash error E:91:01
I had the same problem, and i tryed everything, even opening
the camera and see if any visible damage on any part (nothing), so
when i try initializing again ( menu>setup>option #1), right after the
"OK" over reseated date, i went to the Flash Button, and turn it off
and at least the annoying flashing error is not there - that means it is
software error, because all flash functions work till it detects that
has ans error wile charging/loading the flash. Hope it helps.

I had the same thing happen to me. got the E91:01 error message. i initialized it and the error isnt there but flash doesnt work and the picture quality isnt the same. I have a DSC-W55. I've read some confusing ways to fix it but was hoping for an easier way or somewhere inexpensive to have it fixed.

Olá,eu tenho a camera sony cyber shot dsc-w120,
ela estava funcionando normalmente,certo dia ela parou de tirar foto om flash,e ficou aparecendo "E:91:01".E O botão de desl/lig flash nao funcionava.
ja inicializei as configurações,ai para de aparecer o "E:91:01" mais tbm não tira foto com flash,e depois de um tempo volta aparece o "E:91:01".
NÃO DA pra levar na assistencia autorizada,pq eu nao comprei aki meu primo mandou pra mim do EUA.
nao tenho nota.
e agora como eu faço alquem pode me ajudar??
