DSC-W120 lens is out and it will not power on tried brand new battery

the wife's camera has the lens out and it will not power on, I bought a brand new battery and it did not solve the problem...it will not power on---I need help

can anyone help me with this, the lens extended when powered on, then the camera shut off and it will not power on again

Search for "Sony lens problem" on this web site. There are a number of threads regarding that topic. Maybe your problem is similar to one of these other problems that already have solutions.
