E:91:01 on Sony DSC-P200

My Sony DSC-P200 7.2 MP malfunctioned what do I do???

My camera DSC P200 is showing E:91:01. What I should do as it is not showing flash. I am worried about it.

For E:91:xx the camera manual says: "A camera malfunction has occurred. Reset the camera (page 74), then turn the power on again." The following screen shot of the RESET button location came out of the PDF manual.

Hi guys, E:91:01 error has appeared on my DSC-W50 for no reason... driving me insane!! Has anyone seen this error before or some kind of solution I can try? Is there a reset button on the DSC-W50?

On the DSC-75 model, reset is in the menu ... go to set up, and initialise all settings.

I switched off my sony digital camera DSCP200 and took off my battery and blew inside the battery cabin and put it inside and then I reset it by using a pointed object on the reset button and later I switched on my camera and I found the message E:91;01 was gone

Hey i had the same issues, with my dsc p200, this error comes when the lens motor gets stuck or re alligned or something, i tried everything including the 2ft drop, didnt help .

so i have given it to sony world, should cost me around Rs.1000 bucks in india.

For W55 you should just go to Setup and initialize the camera. It helps with E:91 error! Thanks everyone!!!
