Memory for Sony DSC-V1: Where to get? microSD adapter? Hack?

Hi there,

you may have been asked this question many times before, please forgive me. You seem to be the best person to ask; I would be grateful for any link, info or tip.

I need to source more memory for my DSC-V1. It uses Sony Memorysticks. They seem hard to find, aside from very small ones that occasionally show up on ebay.

Maybe I am not looking for the right key words, or in the wrong places.

I am also hoping that there may be an adapter that would allow me to use SD or microSD cards, as the Sony memory sticks seem quite costly.

Any suggestions? The camera is in perfect working order and I would hate to have to throw it away just because I can't source proper memory for it.

You are definitely asking at the right place. As you guessed, there are actually a lot of different adapters so that you can use Memory Stick PRO Duo and microSD cards with your digital camera. Here are some adapters that are useful to you:
