Sony DSC-V3 Flash error E:91:01 - How do I remove or correct it?

Have you tried to just reset the camera?

I have also a DSC-W30 and I tried to basically reset to the default settings, going to Menu button, (Right Arrow), Setup, Down Arrow (2 times),Select with round button,Scroll down to Initialize and select OK.

I performed the above procedure but I'm still having the same error.

you must inizializate your camera, but dont leave time adjusting the date. When your camera restart select any date quickly, then change the camera to the ISO option, to desactivate the flash temporarily, then change to AUTO option, and desactivate the flash. For the moment is the best option. Te problem may be ocasionated because your camera was in wet area and ocasionate a shortcut, but you need to verify if the problem is in the flash card, in any terminal, or in the motherboard.
