new casing

does any one know how easy it would be to put a digital camera in a new casing. the main trouble would be about where u would put the battery and usb connection etc. are there any articles out there about how to do this?

Not sure exactly what you are trying to achieve. Maybe you can elaborate more. Couldn't you drill holes in the new casing for the battery compartment and the usb connectors, etc?

Why do you need to re-case your camera?
I could see if you want to rugidtise the
camera to survive a rocket launch and then
the case would have to comform with the
parts of the board and some silicone gel
pack to ensure that shock waves do not
shear off the parts from the board.
