Hello Chien Cheng,
Am a keen astro photographer.
Here are some of my 20d images http://www.nzimports.co.nz/imaging.htm
My name is Tony Kwak in Whangarei , New Zealand .
Having lot's of trouble with batteries going flat so would like to have a go at modifying my BP-511 batteries.
PROBLEM? Have to have the battery compartment closed for camera to operate!
Any ideas?
Look forward to your reply.

My apologies for wasting your time.
Have just discovered a little rubber flap for the wire to exit the battery compartment.

No problem. You have some amazing photographs on your web site. I hope to try to astro-photography in the future.
If you ever come across a camera that doesn't have an opening for the wires to exit, you can always get a small round file or a small drill bit and make a little slot for the wires to exit. The following web page has a photo where I made two round slots that way:

Good luck.
