Canon Ixus 70 won't focus

Hi, My Ixus 70 wont focus, takes 'good' fuzzy pictures, same fuzzy picture in viewfinder. Lens is clean, have tried removing and refitting battery in case it had a reset action. tried all manner of options in the various menus. any ideas?
