I love your site. There is a lot of cool stuff you can hack or improvise.
I was wondering if you could find a lot cheaper (improvised way) to wireless transfer files from a Canon EOS 30D, 1DS etc? The unit that Canon sells is $1000 USD. There has to be a way that is not 1000 bucks.

I don't know if these are on the market yet but a wireless usb adapter might do the trick. They are supposed to be the equivalent of a usb cable except no wires and as far as equipment is concerned it acts like a standard cable.

that would be an awesome mod.
there are some wireless usb hubs... i wonder if anyone can hack one and turn it into a wireless usb adaptor for canon DSLRs
