I have a Fuji S5600 which is still going strong but I was thinking that the shutter speed on these types of camera is a function programming. I want to increase the shutter speed to considerably more than the 15 seconds which is the max. I would like to increase it to 10 to 15 minutes so I could use it to take pictures of the sky at night...basically set it up, put it on the timer to allow it to settle after pressing the shutter and voila.
Any ideas?

Just wondering if you ever got a response about increasing your shutter speed on the S5600, or any other hack for that model?
regards,
joe
