I know this might sound a little evil to mutilate my precious S7000 like this, but I have a good reason.
I just got myself a lens adapter and a uv filter. Now, every time I turn on/off the camera the lens extend/retract - it takes (relatively) a lot of time and a lot of power (as it is a mechanical action).
Since I have the adapter mounted I don't really care if the lens stay extended all the time (since the adapter protects them now).
Does anyone have a clue on how to "lock" the lens in the extended position without causing damage to the camera ? (for example, to detach the motor that extends it)
