New Firmwares dx7590 cx7430

Kodak has released two firmware updates recently. Can anyone hack it and change JPEG compression to superfine?

Start a request at kodak - website. They will answer that they forward it to a tech. Might more requests (like "i would buy it, but only with compression control") will speed up that.

How can we hack such a firmware ? I looked into the binary but didn't find the jpeg compression table...
