I have an Olympus C-8080 that I want to use to take underwater pictures from within a pressure housing. I can remotely control the camera using Cam2Com software. The challenge is being able to set the camera to PC-control mode remotely. Does anyone know a way to do this? Normally one has to open the storage media door, press two buttons simultaneously for about 4 sec, then close the media door.
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

I discovered that once the camera is set to PC-control mode, it will continue to boot in that mode as long as the USB cable is connected.
