C-2100 repair?

i dropped my olympus c-2100 camera on the floor & the power-up knob with all the modes/settings, reset, off/on controls don't work because the button sheared off or otherwise broke. is there any hope of repairing my camera? i see these parts cameras on eBay all the time. but the repair guy i sent mine to said he couldn't get the parts--NOT TRUE.

can i fix it myself or can anyone here point me to a good repair shop, or any other options?
