Flash DMW-FL360E (FZ50) versus Oly FL-36

seen from the outside the DMW-FL360E is a Oly FL-36 apart from the brand signs on it. Are they really identical? Will my FL-36 work with the FZ50?

as the pin outs are identical
and the names are similar
I enquired with panasonic Australia
~no answer

further enquiries established that
indeed olympus flashes are made by panasonic.

Therefore I expect that the Oly flashes will work in full TTL with FZ50 & L1.
