One of things I do is disguise my camera with various bellows camera knockoffs. For Halloween, I decided to disguise the camera as a pumpkin. Most of these shots were quick grab shots with the E-5, including a few that I had forgotten I had it in spot metering mode, and had to pull the colors up.
Here is the current setup, with the E-P2 inside of a plastic pumpkin pail meant for trick or treating, with the 14-150mm lens taking the part of the nose. I have my FL-36 tucked inside of a lantern I got from Hallmark. I'm using the Yongnuo remote viewer and shutter release I picked up from ebay, so I didn't have to cut a hole in the back to view the screen:

I had hoped to spend the Sunday before Halloween finishing up the camera, and making it easier to assemble and take apart, but we didn't have power, so I had to go to the party with the camera as it was. The big thing I would do is attach the lantern to the pumpkin, as I had it fall off twice, and put a base inside to make it easier to put the camera in/out.

That's very cool. I spent some time thinking of ways to capture the Halloween night events on my camcorder. Finally, I just left it on a stand in my house aimed at a door. Next time, I'll use your trick and stuff it in a pumpkin and put it outside with the rest of the decorations. :-)

One thing to consider is whether you want to use a real pumpkin or a plastic one. I decided after awhile to use the plastic one that I got at the local drugstore, but it might be cooler to use a real pumpkin. I'm already thinking of maybe a snowman camera for Christmas.

Seems to be more advantageous to use a plastic pumpkin: 1) it's lighter; 2) won't make your expensive camera dirty; and 3) you can re-use without making another one.
Oh the other hand, a real pumpkin may just go better with your decoration. :-)

Yep, that was my thought process. I messed up the first plastic pumpkin that I cut, and it cost me a whole $2 to get another one from the drug store.
