I have a Digita concepts (Sakar) wal-mart $20 special. Work ok on windows. just ok. Have driver for it. Mac is another story. Won't plug n play . And all I found on the net won't work either. I can't belive there is not a driver for this. I have panther one one and lepard in another.

Well, writing a driver for it is easy. Without documentation from Sakar, what you need is a Windows PC and a hardware USB analyzer (they're cheap, only $2K or so). Once you've work out what's being sent "over the wire", and then you write your own driver to do that under MacOS. I'd probably fake out a mass storage driver for it, starting out from IOMassStorageClass if it were me.
