Accidentally Deleted Photo from PC After Downloading from Camera

I have downloaded my pictures from my camera to my pc. In error I deleted the pictures from my pc but not from my camera. when i try to download the picres again from my camera to my pc i get a message on my pc saying there are no new pictures to download. i have no other option then o say ok and it will no let me download them again. Plese help.

It's possible that when you downloaded the photos from the camera to the PC, the photos are deleted from the camera. Then when you accidentally deleted the photos from the PC, all copies of the photos are gone.

Even though you've deleted your photos, they are only removed from the file allocation table (FAT). FAT is like the table of content of a book. You removed an entry from it, but your photos are still on the camera or memory card. You can use an undelete utility to try to recover your photos.

Do not shoot any new photos on your camera or the memory card. The new photos will write over the old ones. Because you are actively using your PC, such as reading this message thread, it's possible that you are already overwriting the deleted photos on your PC.

Download a free undelete utility and use it on the camera, memory card, and/or your PC. The one I like to use is call Restoration and it is freeware. I downloaded it from here: Restoration
