DSC-F717 Stuck in USB Mode

My Sony DSC-F717 is stuck in USB Mode. Have tried everything to get it to clear, including the RESET button.

Any ideas out there, besides sending back to Sony for a costly repair????

Have you tried removing the batteries and back-up batteries for a minute or two?
