DSC-W180 Makes Horrible Noise

I have a sony cybershot DSC-W180. When I turn it on it makes a bad noise and when the lens is fully out, a message on screen says to power off and back on. I power off and on and the same thing happens again. The camera only works in view picture mode, can't take pictures. Anybody had this problem? Is it fixable? Started happenin out of the blue for no reason. I have tried resetting with initialize feature, no luck.
