DSC-W30: convert individual pics to WAV

When I download short movies from DSC W30 I get a line of individual pics, not a .wav, how to get it into .wav form?

WAV is a sound format . . .
Are you sure you set the camera to the movie mode? And didn't just keep the shutter button down while in camera mode?
