DSC-W50 lens stuck due to beach sand

i dropped my DSC-W50 in the water when i was at a small beach on a lake. i picked it up immediatley and dried it out, but sand got stuck in the lens. i can still see all of my old pictures and videos, but i cant take any new ones. the lens keeps going in and out and it beeps while saying "turn power off and back on". any suggestions?
