Experience with Sony Digital Camera with Sweeping Panorama Mode

If you look at Sony's website for the Cyber-shot they have a few models which feature the sweep panorama mode - http://www.sony.co.uk/hub/cyber-shot-digital-cameras You haven't really mentioned that here, I was wondering if you've had any experience with it?

I don't have any Sony digital cameras with this sweeping panorama mode functionality.

However, I was just playing with my FujiFilm FindPix HS10, which does have a sweeping panorama mode. It's very cool. You pick a direction--right, left, up, or down--in which you'd like to sweep. Then you sweep. You can slow, speed up, or stop and the camera will know and change its capture rate with your change in speed. If you go in a different direction, it will cancel your shot. Once you've sweeped all the way, it saves the panorama image.

Seeing the Sony video on the page, it seems that the Sony's sweeping panorama operates in similar fashion:
