Fixing E:62:10 Error on Sony DSC-TX5 Camera

My Sony DSC-TX5 camera stopped working and showed an E:62:10 error message on the display. After taking the battery out and reformatting the memory card and also trying another memory card, the camera still would not focus and take pictures. Thinking that I had nothing to lose, I gently bumped the camera a few times and like magic the error message disappeared and the camera appears to be working fine again!
