My DSC t-1 has no back lights

My T1 has no back lights and i dont know why lcd displays are still ok but no light.. hope you will help me with this one.

Push on the button with two bars around a rectangle . . . a few times. The symbol looks something like |[]|. That button allows you to turn off the LCD all together, or just to turn off the backlight.

Thanks for the reply.. I already did but still no lights.. Is't possible that my lcd is broken?
But everything is working, except for the back lights, any more suggestions? thank you.

I can't think of anything else. If there is no other menu options to disable the backlight, then it's possible that the backlight is burnt out or broken.

If your camera is under warranty, I would contact Sony. If it's out of warranty, you can at least use it for outdoor use, where a backlight isn't necessary.

Your LCD isn't broken if you can still see an image on the screen. Look closely, its there its just very dark. The backlight is soldered to the LCD cable, it needs to be replaced or just resoldered.
