Planned obsolence Sony Cybershot

Namaste,

In the last years it occured twice that a Sony Cybershot suddenly get's stucks during Lens ouverture.
At first it looks like a mechanical failure, though i am convinced that this pattern is a programmed failure.
These patterns of programmed Failures are known integrated in printers.

A life example is proven by Russian Hackers that numerous Producents such as HP, Epson, aso. programmed a planned obsolence after n. printouts.
All shops say: "fixing the Printer will cost you at least 150$, we advice you to buy a new printer".
The failure on printers can be recovered by a firmware hard-reset-hack.

It is very simple, the Market requires consumation, thus we are talking about "planned obsolescence of products".
1928 a Stockbroker said that a Products with a long Lifetime is a disaster for Sales and Profit oriented business.

My Question:

Does anyone knows a Tool that allows me to hard-reset-hack the firmware of a Sony Cybershot?
