Salvaging Photos from Memory Stick

I have a Sony DSC-F55 Cyber-shot camera, using a 125MB memory stick. After taking numerous photos while away on vacation, I accidentally told the camera to format the memory stick (duh). Realizing what I had done, I quickly removed the stick from the camera as it just began formatting. Is there any way to find if any photos are still on the stick, and how can I download them. Camera and PC both state the stick is not formatted, and asks if I want to format it. Thanks

Bob, Go onto the Sony website and find the memory stick data recovery download, it's somewhere under the downloads/memorystick downloads/memory stick upgrades look for the MSfilerescue.exe. Follow the instruction and this should get you sorted. If not there's a number of other data recovery packages that will do the job....all is not lost...yet!!!
