Sony DSC-P43 board replacement

The camera took a knock and has caused part of the circuit board to fail. I took it into a repair shop and they said that the (pcb?) part had failed and it needed the block as well. They wanted to charge me £85.00 to fix it.

Has anyone had the same fault and what did you do to get it fixed.
