Hello,
My DSC-P5 started to make strange noises yesterday: When I shut it on, it makes some humming noise and nothing else. Then, after shaking it a little, it starts to show a picture in the LCD view finder again, but it's all fuzzy. It also flashes with E:62:00. When I shut the camera off, the objective doesn't slide into the body anymore and the lens is also kept uncovered. I have no clue why this is, the camera just stood on the floor next to my computer for the last couple of days without me knowingly doing any harm to it like dropping the camera, or stepping on it or whatever.
Thanks for a little enlightenment,
Carsten
