Hi guys!
So, I bought this camera 2 yrs ago and I didn't have any problems till now! So, I turned on camera and suddenly the camera asked me to enter the date and time, I entered it and I after pressing OK, the camera froze! There is no way to pass this date and time entering since it appear each time when I turn on the camera. I tried everything: from reseting, to initializing...I managed to initialize the camera by plugging it with usb to computer. Like that the camera works normally, and there aren't any problems but once I turn the camera on without having it plugged to a pc, the date and time window appears and the camera freezes once pressing OK.
I am sure this is a software problem but I honestly don't know how to solve it. Any ideas? Is there any way to reinstall the firmware?
Thanks!
Denis

Is it possible that no one has encountered this problem? :(

If the camera works fine when plugged into your computer, than maybe it's power related. It's possible that your battery is too old and doesn't have enough juice to power it any more. Maybe a new battery is needed. You can test this if you have multiple batteries; just try them one at a time (after fully charging them).
If it's not the battery, then it's possible that the camera has an internal battery that powers the date/time function (while the main battery is out of the camera). Either that battery is about to die, or it just need a recharge. You can try plugging the camera into your computer, set it up, and just leave it plugged in for a day or two and see if the internal battery can be recharged that way.
