Sony W50

Hi Everyone. Hope someone can help.
I have a Sony W50 which has worked great for 10 months.
Now, if I take three identical pics in succession with 5 second intervals(all with flash) the results vary from very dark to OK to overexposed. The camera is set to use automatic settings.
Have I got some settings wrong or is the camera faulty?
Appreciate some advice.
Bri.

Sound like you got exposure bracketing or flash exposure bracketing turned on. Does the DSC-W50 support exposure bracketing? You might want to look into that.
