mavica CD400 camera problem - help!!

I've had this Sony Mavica for many years and now as I was finally transfering all my mini-cd's to my computer, the thing won't see or read the disks anymore.
The general error is C:13:01 which means there's no disk or the disk needs to be cleaned.
These are disks with pics from previous years up to this year (and month).
I can put a new blank disk in the camera, initialize the disk, take a pictue, then view the picture but if I turn the camera off then on again, it says there's no disk or I get the "C" error.

Has anyone gone through this? Any idea how much it may cost to fix or is there some computer program that will read the other disks that I never finalized so I can get the pics off the mini-disks?
